Rihanna Sued By Photographer David LaChapelle Over ‘S&M’ Video

Ahhhhh I knew this was coming!!!

The video for Rihanna‘s ‘S&M’ single was banned in approximately 11 countries and flagged on YouTube, well now the actual raunchy video visuals are the target of a lawsuit by celeb photographer David LaChapelle.

In the lawsuit,  LaChapelle accuses Riri of stealing images from his popular photographs, which have appeared in publications such as Rolling Stone and Vanity Fair.

LaChapelle claims: “the music video is directly derived from and substantially similar to the LaChapelle works,” and has copied the “composition, total concept, feel, tone, mood, theme, colors, props, settings, decors, wardrobe and lighting” of his popular work.
