The Black Eyed Peas are all set to give back to the kids, by opening a music academy in New York City this summer, according to the Associated Press.
The school will teach video and music production using professional-quality equipment to students ages 13 to 19. Students will be admitted to the academy solely based on recommendations from teachers and their interest in camera work, editing and graphic design.
The Academy is a collabo between the Black Eye Peas’ Peapod Foundation and the Adobe Foundation, which is a charity run by Adobe Systems Inc., the makers of software such as Acrobat, Flash and Photoshop.
