Daryl Hannah Arrested Outside The White House

Actress Daryl Hannah was arrested on Tuesday in front of the White House along with other environmental protesters who oppose a planned oil pipeline from Canada to the U.S. Gulf Coast.
She was hauled off to jail after she sat down on the sidewalk near the White House and refused to move after she was ordered to by U.S. Park Police. Before her arrest, Daryl told The Associated Press that the protesters want to be free from dependence on fossil fuels, and are calling for clean energy investments instead.
Daryl along with the protesters hope President Barack Obama will not give in to oil lobbyists.
