Hope Solo Goes Totally Nude For ESPN Magazine Cover

Credit: ESPN Magazine

International soccer star and Olympic gold medalist Hope Solo has stripped down to total nakedness for the cover of ESPN‘s annual Body Issue.

But don’t even think about calling her cover shot sexy, “I still don’t buy the idea that I’m a sex symbol,” Hope tells ESPN in the issue which is laced with top athletes posing in all their naked gloriousness.

While she does admit to having had prom offers and even some marriage proposals, Hope is not trying to be attractive in the least, “my entire purpose is trying to be the best, and if that exudes beauty too … it means the image of the typical female body type is finally evolving.”

And please don’t let the 5’9″, 150lb soccer star’s decision to pose nude make you think for one minute that her self image was always on top, “growing up, I felt insecure about my build. Guys would say, ‘Look at those muscles! You can kick my ass!’ I didn’t feel feminine” she says. “But that’s changed in the last four years.”

Don’t you just love how the face of beauty has changed so drastically???  LOVE IT!!!

Now watch the deliciousness of NBA Forward Blake Griffin shoot his nude pics for the issue:
