Rick Ross Hospitalized Twice Forced To Cancel Concerts
Rapper Rick Ross had to be hospitalized in Alabama Saturday morning after having suffered two separate medical emergencies within six hours which forcing aircrafts to make emergency landings.
Mike Jachles, spokesman for Florida’s Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue, told the Associated Press after the first incident that paramedics met the returned Delta flight at the Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and performed “advanced life-support care.”
Ross, 34, who was on his way to Memphis basketball event, was conscious and breathing when taken off the Delta flight but was still taken to a Ft. Lauderdale hospital for treatment.
The second incident occurred when he again suffered a seizure aboard a private flight reports Memphis’s WMC-TV. Once the flight landed Ross was rushed the University of Alabama-Birmingham Hospital, which would not comment on his condition.
TMZ reported Saturday that although Ross was all set to perform as schedule, the deputy director of the Coliseum told them that Ross would no longer be performing.
