Prince William and Duchess Catherine were all smiles on Thursday during their fundraising dinner at London’s St. James’s Palace where the couple managed to raise $1 million dollars for the Child Bereavement Charity.
Dressed in a tux William gave a speech saying:
“What you are both doing together to alleviate the suffering of children who have lost family members, and bereaved families who have experienced the tragedy of losing a child, is beyond praise.”
According to the Child BereavementCharity, the $1 million “raised will be transformational in helping us extend our reach to more bereaved children, families and professionals throughout the U.K.”.
Great to see that Will continues to follow in his legendary mother Princess Diana‘s footsteps with the charity work.
