Guy Ritchie Talks Marriage To Madonna “I Stepped Into A Soap Opera”

Guy Ritchie is finally opening up about his 8-year marriage to Madonna in a new interview with Details magazine.
In the latest issue of Details the director reveals that while he did in fact enjoy the marriage and loves the kids that came out of it, the marriage itself was pretty much a real life soap opera.
“It’s definitely not something I regret,” Guy,43, said. “The experience was ultimately very positive. I love the kids that came out of it, and I could see no other route to take. But you move on, don’t you?”
When he talks about the kids, Guy is referring to the two children he has with Madonna: their 11-year-old son Rocco and their 6-year-old adopted son David.
Speaking on the overall marriage to Madonna,53, he said, “I stepped into a soap opera, and I lived in it for quite a long time — I’ll probably be more eloquent on it ten years from now — when you end up with a lot of the things you set out to chase, and find that you’ve stumbled into all sorts of hollow victories, then you become deeply philosophical.”
Finishing off the Madonna topic with “I’m quite happy that that experience was accelerated for me. I’m glad I made money, in other words. And I’m glad I got married.”
