Etta James Hospitalized “She’s In Pretty Bad Shape”

Etta James has been hospitalized after experiencing difficulty breathing.
The 73-year-old blues signer who is terminally ill with cancer, is surrounded by her family at a Southern California hospital where she has been hospitalized since earlier this week.
Etta’s manager of 30 years, Lupe De Leon, tells the DailyMail that the singer is “in pretty bad shape” and it is unknown whether she will be able to be released from the hospital where she has been placed on a breathing apparatus.
The Grammy-winner icon’s health has been rapidly deteriorating in the past few months after her doctor announced that she has been diagnosed with terminal leukemia. It was later revealed that she is also suffering from dementia and has been receiving mostly at-home care.
