Jay-Z and Beyonce decided to release the first images of their new baby girl to the world in a quite simple fashion, via her own Tumblr page along with the message:
“We welcome you to share in our joy. Thank you for respecting our privacy during this beautiful time in our lives.”

While most are left wondering why the photos weren’t sold to a media outlet, a source close to the couple tells me:
“Jay-Z says that selling the photos of their daughter was never even a thought for them, since they don’t need the money.”
