Britney Spears’ Fiance Gets Shared Legal Control Over Her

Britney Spears‘s fiancé, Jason Trawick, has been approved as a co-conservator for the popstar by a Los Angeles judge Wednesday.
“Jamie’s thrilled,” his attorney Geraldine Wyle told reporters following the hearing, referring to the other co-conservator, Brit’s father. “It’s all in the family.” His attorney also went on to clariy that the request to add Jamie was all Britney’s idea, not Jamie’s.
In case your wondering, this means that he now has a legal authority over a Britney’s general well-being, which includes making decisions about what she eats, her clothing and her medical care.
A source close to the singer tells PEOPLE that Britney enjoys plenty of personal freedom and that the conservatorship is mostly in name only.
