Marc Anthony Wanted J. Lo Back But She Chose New Boyfriend

Despite having filed for divorce from Jennifer Lopez on Monday, Marc Anthony is said to have actually wanted to reconcile with his wife.
According to TMZ Jenni turned down Marc’s suggestion that they try work out their marriage and decided to stay with her new 24-year-old boyfriend Casper Smart instead. A decision which is said to have left Marc totally “blindsided” and “hurt” since he though the two weren’t that “serious” and she revealed that she is “madly in love” with Casper.
This is said to be the reason why after being separated for the past nine months he finally filed his divorce papers.
Back in June, the couple announced their separation via a joint statement:
“We have decided to end our marriage. This was a very difficult decision. We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters. It is a painful time for all involved and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time.”
The couple who has been married since 2004 and are parents to 3-year-old twins, Max and Emme.
