Britney Spears And Demi Lovato Announced As New ‘X Factor’ Judges

On Monday both Britney Spears and Demi Lovato were announced as the new judges on the “X Factor” replacing the now fired Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul.
Brit who has was in talks with the FOX show for months, is reportedly getting a $15 million check to fill the seat for one year. There is still no word on what Demi’s salary will be.
The news was announced at Fox’s Upfront Presentation at the Beacon Theater in New York City.
Britney said in a statement:
“I couldn’t be more excited to join The X Factor judging panel. I’m a huge fan of the show and now I get to be a part of the action. Simon and L.A. better watch out.”
While Demi described her new role as a dream come true:
“I’m so thrilled to join this legendary group of judges on the show. To be able to spend each week with Simon, L.A. and Britney watching the best that America has to offer is truly a dream come true.”
