Jack Osbourne Talks Being Diagnosed With Multiple Sclerosis At 26

Credit: Hello!

Jack Osbourne has revealed that he has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis; a disease of the central nervous system which can cause blindness, slurred speech, muscle weakness and a loss of coordination.

In a new interview with Hello! magazine the 26-year-old reality star says he first discovered that he had the disease after already having lost 60 per cent of vision in his right eye.

Jack, who just two months ago became a father for the first time says that although he has now vowed to overcome the disease, he went through all different emotions when he was first diagnosed.

“‘I got really, really angry. ‘The timing was so bad. I’d just had a baby, work was going great – I kept thinking, “Why now?” he says.  “Then I got really sad for about two days, and after that I realised, being angry and upset is not going to do anything at this point – if anything it’s only going to make it worse.”

His fiance who also took part in the interview says that from now on Jack will now have to change his life for the better, get healthier and not get stressed.

Jack: “Adapt and overcome is my new motto.”  That’s the spirit Jack-O!!
