Nivea Ends Rihanna’s Endorsement Deal: “We Stand For Trust, Family & Reliability”

Rihanna‘s endorsement deal with skincare brand Nivea has suddenly come to an abrupt end after Stefan Heidenreich, the new head of Nivea’s parent company Beiersdorf, decided Rihanna just doesn’t go well with their core values, and has dropped her as the face of the brand.

“The advert starring Rihanna was a no go,” he told the German media. “I do not understand how to bring the core brand of Nivea in conjunction with Rihanna. Nivea is a company which stands for trust, family and reliability.”

And we must admit that the singer who appeared in a series of advertisements for the brand in celebration of its 100th anniversary,  is really not the face of “trust, family and reliability” with all those crazy wild pics and tweets she stays posting.

Rihanna who we know has no problems with expressing her distaste for folks on twitter has already tweeted a photo of Heidenreich with the statement: “No caption necessary.”

I doubt this will really kill RiRi’s pockets.  Moving along.
