WATCH: 7 Sorority Girls Arrested For Allegedly Forcing Pledges To Eat Mud and Garbage
Seven students from the University of Albany were arrested for allegedly hazing new pledges to their sorority. Police in Albany, New York say they were called for a noise complaint and found 4 young women being forced to eat mud and garbage.
One of the pledges needed medical attention. The sorority sisters were charged with misdemeanor hazing. They were reportedly part of Alpha Omicron Pi, but the University of Albany says it does not recognize the organization as a sorority.
