She thanked her family, The Obamas, and then she handed an powerful message to women.”I’m sorry that we did not win this election for the values we share and the visions we hold,” she began. “But I feel pride and gratitude … You represent the best of America.”
“This is painful, and it will be for a long time,” said Clinton, who won the popular vote. “But our campaign was never about one person or one election, it was about the country we love.”
